Guided by the incredible bones of the Oakwood Farms home, Refined & Co. developed a considered color story that balances cooler, comforting tones with the natural warmth of the existing exposed beams. The result is a main floor that feels cohesive and elevated while remaining rooted in its rich farmhouse history.
Our team immersed itself in a main-floor makeover that included a kitchen renovation, a living room update, a foyer refresh, and a powder room remodel, with fine cabinetry installed throughout the renovated rooms. We focused on breathing new life into well-loved spaces with cohesive color, charming character, and pattern-forward design.
By respecting the architecture of the time-honored farmhouse and layering in thoughtful updates, the main floor maintains a strong sense of place with refined form and function for Oakwood Farms’ present.

Within the existing footprint, we elevated the kitchen through fine cabinetry, updated finishes, and thoughtful material selection. Surfaces and textures were chosen to complement the original architectural elements rather than compete with them. The warmth emanating from the living room beams remains central, while cooler tones and layered materials give the space a fresh footing.

The living room centers around custom corner cabinetry designed to anchor the entertainment wall without overpowering the room.
Integrated storage and tailored millwork create a focal point that’s architectural instead of simply added on. The original beams remain the defining feature overhead, and every finish was selected to let their warmth lead.
